Beccas 1st Birthday

So the first year went down very fast, didn't it? And today is the big day. Balloons all over the house. Kitchen filled with fairy cakes, jelly and pies (and mom is going out to get more food?!).

The first birthday gifts have already been played with. (Making a lot of noice one of them is). Mom is trying to get all things done before the guests arrive and dad's having fun with the new toys. Becca is doing alright despite the cold she's got. So not 100% but doing fine.

The toys were fun, but the balloons - man, they are so much fun! Was walking around with one of them for a good 20 minutes! Mom's not as excited as it means she has to be on her knees supporting the wee one "walking around" and also struggling a bit as she is terrified of balloons herself. But being the excellent mom she hardly even blinks when the balloon is bounced in her face or gripped tightly but little kiddy fingers.
